We had a great time during our romantic escape. the restaurant next door was a highlight, offering exceptional food and friendly service. the lentil soup was superb and we couldn't resist ordering it twice. In the mornings, we enjoyed a delicious oatmeal breakfast. We also appreciated the blankets and heater provided, ensuring a cozy and comfortable stay. the lovely outdoor area was perfect for basking in the afternoon sun.

The unisex restroom had a strong urine smell and was quite crowded. there were only two showers and two toilets available, which made it a bit inconvenient during peak hours.

Helpful staff, clean bathroom, use of kitchen, great value menu, comfortable beds.

stayed here again in vilar, albergue surpassed expectations with clean room, comfortable bed, and exceptional food nearby. quiet location, friendly owner, and good wifi made for a relaxing stay. highly recommended.

I stayed at this gem of a find while walking the Camino de Santiago. It was quiet, comfortable, and had a great location. The bed in the shared room was clean and cozy, and the bathroom was just a short walk away. The restaurant next door served exceptional food with friendly service. The owner was helpful, even with the language barrier. The hot showers and cloth sheets were a bonus, and the outside table and good wifi made it easy to stay connected.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is situated away from the larger villages, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The private room with a shared bathroom was clean and quiet, ensuring a restful stay. Additionally, the restaurant next door offers delicious food and the staff are wonderful, providing a great dining experience.

One downside is that the bed in the private room had lovely sheets but was uncomfortable, with noticeable springs.

That there were no individual reading lights in the rooms. be careful of the changing room section of the shower area as it can be quite slippery after being mopped, as I unfortunately experienced.

I had a great experience staying at this cozy hostel! The best aspects were definitely the clean and tidy rooms and the value for money. The hostel was well maintained and offered good value for the price. Additionally, the location was perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, away from the bustling city. It was conveniently located just before Triacastela, providing a peaceful setting for relaxation.
